Meet Kate Imp
Kate Imp is currently attending law school at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. She holds a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. During her undergraduate experience, Kate participated in Maryland’s Gemstone program and after four years of research and product development, her team formed Impact Education, LLC which promotes technological advancement in engineering classrooms. Kate also studied abroad in London for a semester.

Before going to law school, Kate spent time working as a wilderness instructor for Outward Bound, leading 30-day canoeing trips for adjudicated youth. She also spent time working on organic farms throughout Europe.

In high school, Kate was a member of the Landmark Volunteers team in Acadia National Park. In 2007, she came back as the Team Leader for the group in Acadia National Park and hopes to continue working as a Team Leader in the coming years.
