Meet Amy Gibault
Amy is an elementary art teacher for the Tomah Area School District in southwestern Wisconsin. She holds a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis on sculpture from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. During the summer of 2006 she worked with The Teacher Restoration Corp., a group of Wisconsin teachers who volunteer to help with historical restoration at various Colorado and Wyoming sites.

Amy has been a summer school art teacher, helped to raise funds for various organizations, volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, and has also worked with Special Olympics. She is an avid runner and completed 4 half-marathons at the end of May. In October 2006 she ran her first full marathon in Chicago, and is training for one again in 2007.

Amy has traveled the eastern part of the country extensively and in 2006 she also traveled to 12 different countries in Europe for 17 days and this August she will be traveling to Egypt. This past summer, she led her first team of Landmark volunteers at Fort Ticonderoga in New York.
